I did not post for such a long time already, it may be dead by now...
Anyway, Last Saturday (18th April) It was the national enviroment quiz. Many volunteers signed up for this to earn CIP hours =.=
Early in the mornining, i had to wake up at 5am! It is just like a normal school day. But luckily on the night before I slept at 9.30pm. Reach school at about 7.15am? So sorry to yu, did not check my phone and let you call me a lot of times. We gathered outside the staffroom and waited. Keep waiting and waiting until the teachers come. Finally! We collected everything we need. The name list and so on... I am in charge of invigulating a class of primary school students with Patrick. But! Enter the class. It was in total CHAOS. The tables is even messier than any class i have seen adn the rubbish all over is even worse than our class. To add on, we just realised the classroom we used is huang lao shi's form class...
The students came later than we expected. I thought we are having time constraint because we started late but in the end, need to wait all the way until 8.50am then can start. Everything i say and name list i tick and stuff. Patrick only set up the laptop and scroll the NEquiz. =.= From the students faces during the quiz, it is obvious that the quiz seems too difficult for them. (Of course, some of them we have not even learnt yet) I ask them "any questions?" everytime there is always someone with problems. Most don't even know how to shade the index number. In the end, so many people keep asking and then i just ended up drawing on the board for everyone. Simpler this way... After the quiz, we gave out soveniers. The class we took was the fastest to finish up and proceed tot he hall. So i went down for my break and go to the computer lab. Can slack over there le.
But i did not even rest for 5 minutes, a teacher call us to usher students to the hall. Go back to computer lab after that. Then, after 10 minutes, another duty... And this cycle just continues. The longest time i stayed in the computer lab was 30minutes. Had to leave the lab at 12.30pm proceed to the canteen to wait for Miss Fu. Keep waiting and waiting. Everyone ended up playing tap tap revenge on mingjun's ipod. I took out my mp3 to listen. Going to get bored ot death!
Finally we are called by Miss Fu to go to the hall to pack up. Stacked chairs and stuff. Wrote our names and we can go home. Yu's father fetch me mingjun and yew wei to the mrt. (Thank You) And then, home sweet home?
